Finals Marathon Coming Up

My life has been a little hectic recently—hence the couple of weeks gone by without an entry. The first semester of medical school is almost finished, and I feel like it just started! I have a little over a week of studying and then the marathon week of finals. I did get to relax a little over Thanksgiving break, though. Both of my brothers were home the entire time I was, which was really nice. I don't get to see them very often, so it is always so much fun to spend time with them. We started a tradition of going to Broadripple the night before Thanksgiving with some of our friends, but I think this will be the last year for that. My brothers both feel too old for it now, and it's just never been my scene. So maybe we'll choose to go to a movie next year.

Other than the big night out in Broadripple, I went to Bloomington to visit my grandma for Thanksgiving day, spent time with my Aunt Charlotte and Uncle Bill, and saw the movie Rent with my friends Courtney and Z. Now I just can't wait until Christmas break. We'll been done with the cadaver donors, and I will stop having nightmares about cadavers!
