End of the Semester

Andy and Josh picking out a treeThis semester flew by! I had no idea that stuff and things would happen so quickly. It’s finals time, and sometimes preparations for that are like being drug over a sea of knives.

I think composition class is getting to me: Why, not a fortnight ago, I was talking to a friend about the optics intrinsic to fishes, and I found myself giving the information in MLA format. It doesn’t make the dialog as stilted as you might think. I highly recommend it.

The other day, I had to put on my Police-of-Common-Misconceptions hat and trot down to the office of the Pioneer Press and inform them that Yule, or the Winter Solstice as it is, does not, in fact, (as they reported it) fall on the 22nd of December, but the 21st. I’m a little unsure as to why or how someone could arrive at this conclusion—it’s not like the date has changed or anything like that.

Photos of my set design for Laughter on the 23rd Floor finally found their way out of photographic limbo and can be seen here: http://photos.yahoo.com/frozzenstar (click on Laughter). I’m far from a master in the realm of digital photography for the theatre, so they don’t really do justice to the colors, so here’s for passing scenic art class! WoooHooo!
