Teacher or Student?
Oct 28, 2005

As I was handed back my math test this week, my professor gave me a blank look
and simply asked, “Do you want to teach this class?” I got a perfect score,
but the way he said that to me completely confused me. I wasn’t sure if he was
saying “good job” or if he was mad that I got an A on his test. I guess I am
still getting used to the fact that these are professors who I never see
outside of class. It’s just another difference from my little town. Oh well,
at least it was an A.
Today I am getting ready for our harvest party at our church. We have
games, candy, prizes, a scavenger hunt, and a hay ride for the kids.
I will be a group leader tonight, meaning that I will have about 30 little kids
to be responsible for. I know they have a blast, but when it comes to the end
of the night, I am so worn out! The last thing they do is go on a hay ride.
Maci and some other guys get together and hide in the field and trees, jumping
out or down on the ride to scare the kids. It usually ends up scaring me more!
