IUSB's Just the Right Size

This week has been a blur… work, homework, work on my house, work, homework, and on top of it all—I’ve caught a cold. Well, I guess that’s life sometimes, and you’ve just got to keep going. I find one of the tricks is to stay positive. At least I have a job. At least I have the opportunity to go to school and all that good stuff. But of course, then the other side of me says, “If only I would have gotten the right degree the first time.” Well, let’s hope I’ve got it right this time.

So far, attending classes at IU South Bend has been exactly what I was hoping for. The campus is small enough that it’s been easy to get on and off campus in a flash when I need to. But, it’s just big enough to offer some of the wonderful extras that are nice when you are going to college like plays, activities, help outside of class if you need it, and a really nice workout facility. Ok, so no, I haven’t made it there yet but I plan to, maybe.

I guess, now that I think about it, the same reasons I like IU South Bend are the same reasons I like South Bend…not too big and not too small.
