Halloween
Oct 19, 2005

I love Halloween season! I just think it is so much fun and I love all of the decorations and excitement for it. Even when I was little it just seemed like the best holiday. My neighbors, my sister, and I would run around our neighborhood every year together in our cute little costumes and get tons of candy. I would have candy until like Christmas. I guess all of that is over now, but this year seems like it will still be a lot of fun. Justine and I have been putting up decorations around our room and a lot of other girls have been doing the same.
A bunch of our friends also want to go to a haunted house but there aren’t very many around here, which is disappointing. We were thinking about heading back to Louisville for a night this weekend to go to Waverly Hills, which is an old TB hospital that they turn into a haunted house for the season. I have never been but it’s supposed to be really scary.
I went to Alpha Phi for lunch with a sorority girl, Ashton, I know and it was a lot of fun. We ran into each other a few weeks ago, which was really random because we hadn’t seen each other since we were cheerleaders together in elementary school. That is one thing I love about this school—you just never know who you will run into or just randomly meet. Anyway, the lunch was really good and all of the girls seemed very nice. They have cold dorms, which are where everyone sleeps in one big room, but she said she kind of liked it. I guess they have wake-up calls, so there is no oversleeping, and then they also have “day time rooms” that you share with two or three other girls to do studying and watch TV, etc.
