More Lessons Learned:

    1. Time-to-finish rule. Multiply estimated time by pi (3.14), add three to get actual finish time.
    2. Anything that can go wrong will certainly go wrong, especially experiments!
    3. A prerequisite for a preferred course will always be offered during the semester following the desired course.
    4. Class schedules are specially designed to maximize the time spent [read wasted] in moving between classes by every student on campus.
    5. When in a rush to reach school, the traffic lights between home and school are always red. There’s also at least one instance of someone driving at 40 mph straight ahead of you.
    6. When you are courteous enough to allow someone to get in front of you; there’s an 80 percent chance you both will drive to the same destination and a 100 percent chance that he/she car will get the last parking spot!!
    7. If your old Olay moisturizer reads as “ALL NEW REVITALIZING,” “NEW WITH SPANISH BEADS, MEDITERRANEAN SEA SPONGE, blah blah” ; it only means the price went way up, they’ll still convince you to buy it and make you cut out on one week of Starbuck’s coffee straight!

More later.
