MCAT and Halloween
Nov 7, 2005

The practice MCAT was actually not that bad. Although I was extremely tired when I tested, it was quite similar to the SATs. I originally imagined it as something totally impossible. But today made me realize that there is hope after all.
Also, happy late Halloween. The picture that I have included is of Holly, Jennifer, and me posing in my apartment. We had a great time. On Halloween day, we actually wore our costumes to our biology class; we wore jeans under them, however. We were well received by our classmates.
Last Thursday was the last day of my Summer Bridge class. Summer Bridge was an eight-day orientation program that put freshmen of similar majors together in order to become adjusted to the IUPUI campus. The biology group that Jennifer, Holly, and I were a part of became really close. We had a small party and watched a .ppt slideshow of old pictures. It was great to relive the memories. Thursday was also the day that we scheduled our courses for next semester. I think that I am going to take 16 hours instead of 17 like I am taking now. I am sure that I will be quite busy.
Also, next Tuesday, Paul Rusesabagina will be coming to our school! For those who do not know, he is the actual man from the story of Hotel Rwanda. He is the one who actually endured what the movie portrayed. I believe that the actress who played his wife, Sophie Okonedo, should be coming. Unfortunately, I have a biology lab to attend! I can’t believe that I am missing this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
