Happy Halloween
Oct 28, 2005

Happy early Halloween, everyone. This week’s picture is of Holly, Jennifer, and me posing for pictures. The dorm hosted a small get-together that we attended on Thursday evening. It was quite a bit of fun.
I was finally able to get my computer up and running. I actually installed Windows XP 64-bit. My computer runs twice as fast as most computers; however, other problems like finding new drivers are a little issue that I have to deal with. At the moment, my three-in-one printer/copier/scanner is missing the driver for the scanner. This means my scanner will temporarily be out of use.
This Monday, I had my second calculus test. Next week, I have my third chemistry test. The week after, I have my third biology test. Also next weekend, I will be attempting a full-length practice MCAT offered FOR FREE at Park Tudor School. I am somewhat excited to see what this eight-hour test is like.
In Dr. Crowell’s Lab, I planted my first seeds. I planted a total of about 32 or 36 sprouts. These plants will be used to “collect seed” as we say and to test for other experiments going on in the lab.
Last week, I failed to mention that my younger brother came home for a visit. He currently attends a private school in Minnesota called Shattuck-St. Mary’s. He used to go to Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School, but opportunity came and he took it. He really enjoys the program and plays soccer for them. His team is doing quite well and I could never be more proud for him.
