Excited about Thanksgiving Break

Alas, the last biology exam before the final in December! Can it be? Yes. Staying up past my relatively normal hours for the past two days has definitely taken a toll on my body. This weekend, I look forward to a little bit of relaxation. However, I have a math exam on Monday. Seriously, does it ever end?

In Dr. Crowell’s lab this week, I sterilized some seeds. This process is quite tedious, but I do enjoy it. Also, I collected seed for the first time. That was pretty interesting too. I did not know that it was such a simple process.

Next week will be a relatively stress free week. I just have to start preparing for final exams. Also, next week will be the last full week until Thanksgiving break. I am excited! I have a friend whose schedule allows her to go home back to New Jersey as early as this Friday. How lucky is that? My brother will return next Monday. He and I plan to go to the Lord of the Rings Exhibit and watch the fourth installment of the Harry Potter movies. Lastly, I would like to go to the Rock Bottom Restaurant. There is one quite close to home that I am interested in trying.

Lastly, congratulations and hats off to the Indianapolis Colts! Watching them beat the New England Patriots was quite glorious! I sincerely hope that they make it to Super Bowl Sunday. I want them to play in their new stadium next fall. Such a team deserves such a stadium. Also, hats off to the IUPUI Men’s Basketball Team for a successful first two games. Yeah, Jags!
