Finals Are upon Us

Can Christmas break not come any sooner? I just enjoyed waking up at 11:00 in the morning, watching late night movies, and I have returned to the college life. However, college life is different now. Finals are upon us. I wrap up with a couple more tests, approximately one per class, and then I have two finals next week. The following week, I will have two more. I will be done by Saturday the seventeenth.

Enough about academic pressures—I saw Harry Potter! I thought the movie was quite interesting, although I was a bit confused since I do not read the books. But, when I saw “you know who,” I literally gasped. I could never imagine what such a thing could look like. The silver screen certainly portrayed him well. And who would have thought that someone’s father would be in “you know who’s” group of followers. But, it all makes sense once you sit and dwell on it. I am excited for the fifth year; I’m also glad that I have friends that read the books and keep me updated.

I also went to the Indiana State Museum with my brother and a family friend. We wanted to see the Lord of the Rings exhibit. Unfortunately, we came at an off-time, and were unable to wait for the next tour. We were not disappointed to see the rest of the museum. It was quite interesting. There was a nice section of famous Hoosiers. Did you know that Jane Pauley is from Indiana? I definitely did not.

I also had my four wisdom teeth surgically removed. Let’s just say that I had soft food on Thanksgiving Day.
