A mooncakeThe Singapore Student Association (SSA) organized a Moon Cake Festival at the Arboretum on Sunday, September 18. The Chinese culture is usually celebrated on the fifteenth day of the eighth month. It originated from China when families celebrated the end of harvest by having a big feast. However, unlike the American Thanksgiving, the Chinese have mooncakes instead of mother’s famous turkey recipe.

Hoosier football has gone 3−0. Everybody was just talking about it on Sunday morning. The pride these IU students have for their Hoosier varsity teams is simply outstanding. Since it’s been four years that we beat Kentucky, I thought maybe this will be the year we’ll finally beat our beloved cross state neighbors, Purdue. I mean seriously, now. It’s been a decade since an IU head coach begins his tenure 3−0, so there has to be something special about Coach Terry Hoeppner. I say it’s high time we beat those Boilermakers and show them who the best in Indiana is.
