Time Sure Flies

Oh, my goodness! It’s only a month away to the final exams! Time sure flies by when you’re having so much fun!

Last Saturday, the Asian Student Union (ASU) held the inaugural ASU Sports Tournament at HPER. Asian student groups from all over the region participated in this sporting event, and it was a really pleasant experience to interact with other international students. I played in the soccer match and am very proud to say that my team won second place! My team consisted of Singaporeans from both IU and Purdue. (Yes, Purdue!) This definitely shows that if two rivals put their differences aside and work together, they can achieve absolutely anything.

The winter chills are starting to set in, and the last thing I want to do now is wake up to the freezing mornings and head for class. It is terribly difficult to go out into the cold when you could be in the warm embrace of your bed. Thank goodness Thanksgiving break is just around the corner!
