Funding and Financial Aid

While funding is not available from the Indiana University Flagship program for the academic year on campus, students are encouraged to apply for the wide variety of scholarships and financial aid available through IU and other sources to help fund both their academic years and summer study.

Boren Awards are available through the Language Flagship for overseas portions of graduate study, and are awarded on a competitive basis.

Please see the Bloomington Office of Student Financial Assistance for detailed information about applying for (or renewing) financial aid. Be especially mindful that the optimal time to apply for financial aid for next fall is in January.
