International Applicants
Admissions Main
International applicants are required to apply for admission through the Office of International Admissions. After your application is processed by their office, it will be forwarded to the Department of Folklore and Ethnomusicology.
We prefer online application forms, but when this is not possible, a PDF application form is available for download. If you don't have an international credit card to pay the application fee online, you will need to use this paper copy of the application. (You must have Adobe Reader to view and print the file).
IN ADDITION TO the application form, fee, and supplementary documents listed under basic application, international applicants are required to send the following documents:
- Resume
- TOEFL Scores
- English translations (if required) of official academic records (transcripts, diplomas, etc.).
- Proof of Financial Support (IU cannot issue a letter of admission and visa authorization to any international student who lacks sufficient financial resources to meet all expenses for at least one academic year.)
- Optional: Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores (institute code 1324/0000)
