Indiana University to host conference in 17th-century studies next fall
Under the auspices of the Department of French and Italian, the Society for Interdisciplinary Seventeenth-Century Studies will convene in Bloomington on Nov. 2-4. Sessions will treat topics such as utopias, dreams, maternity, forgery, and opera. Following a recently established tradition, the program will also include a pedagogical session: "Teaching Seventeenth-Century French Culture." Professor Leonard Hinds will host the 19th annual conference this year. If you are interested in proposing a paper or attending the conference, you are invited to contact Hinds in the department or to send e-mail inquiries to lhinds@indiana.edu.
