New FRIT lounge

The departmental lounge, a project of Rosemary Lloyd ever since she became chair, is now open and in use. Located in Ballantine Hall room 625, the lounge offers an attractive and comfortable place to sit, have lunch, read, or enjoy quiet conversations. It is available for graduate students, staff, and faculty. It has a microwave, a refrigerator, and a wonderful western view of the campus. So far, several names for the lounge have been suggested, including "The Denis Augier Lounge," suggested by graduate student Denis Augier.
