The Forest Student Government would like to welcome you to the 1997-1998 school year!
If you have any questions, feel free to
e-mail us. We're excited about this
upcoming year. We are missing something, though... you. If you are interested
in becoming involved in IU, student government is a great place to start. Come and
meet the Executive Board for the 1997-1998 school year. If you have an interest in
Student Government, check out what you can do.
What's BOG and BOVG stand for?
BOG stands for Board of Governors. In the first week on campus in the fall, each floor
votes for two representatives from their floor. They first vote for a Governor, then a
Vice Governor. These two representatives represent your floor for the entire year. BOG
makes decisions concerning the dorm and other campus events. They pass bills and have
the power to get things done in Forest. This takes committment and dedication. We hope
you consider this important role as you begin your journey through this school year.
BOVG is Board of Vice Governors. These representatives will be elected at the same time
Governors are. The Vice Governors will be appointed a position they have interest in to
help Forest. Check out the boards on their respective pages in the
who's who section. The directors and what their committee
does are listed on these pages. We hope you will consider this position as well in
student government.

News
Hey, this is Rob. I'm the webmaster of the FSG site. I've finally finished redoing the
site, and it's been gaining in popularity. I'd encourage everyone to get involved with
this site. I'll be putting up some more fun things to do on here sooner or later. Until
then, leave your comments in
e-mail or post them on our newly
installed guestbook.
Later!
