A component of Enrollment Management at Indiana University, First Year Experience Programs is responsible for all aspects of undergraduate new student orientation. Orientation is required for all undergraduate students, regardless of what semester they start their IU experience.

Taking part in an orientation experience will begin to ease the transition to college and to IU. Orientation staff help students take care of the business of becoming an IU student - from placement tests, to advising and course registration.

We also help students learn more of what Indiana University Bloomington has to offer: resources, support and opportunities. Additionally, students and their parents will begin to understand what it means to be a part of the Indiana University family. We welcome questions and comments-we're here to help!
