Emily Arth, Assistant Director, began in the Office of First Year Experience Programs in 2004 as an undergraduate Program Assistant and served as a graduate assistant while she earned her Master's Degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs. A native Hoosier from Fowler, Indiana, Emily coordinates the Hoosier Link Program, New Student Orientation Publications, and is involved in many other areas of FYE programming.

Emily's favorite part of the First Year Experience is in the fall. New students have so many opportunities when they move to Bloomington and become part of our Hoosier family. From IUBeginnings to Welcome Week and beyond, there is something for everyone before classes even begin.
