Discussion Sessions
- Aim of Discussion Sessions:
- To enable the exploration of specific class topics in
detail.
- To enhance understanding of important aspects of the
course.
- To provide an opportunity to explore material pertinent
to course goals.
- Topics, Information Sources:
- The sequence of discussion topics is listed below.
- For each topic the tasks are:
- Complete the Survey assessing prior knowledge of the
topic
- Explore the links to resources for the topics
- Answer the preparative ("Questionnaire") questions for
each topic (Note
that it is the effort taken to answer these questions rather than the
detailed content of the answers that is assessed)
- Choose topic preference on the selection questionnaire
- Complete summative ("Reflections") comments and
recognition
questionnaire after the discussion.
- Links on this page will be activated as the course
proceeds.
