Awards
The Geography Department recognizes our high-achieving undergraduate majors with several awards. These are usually presented at the annual Departmental Awards Banquet late in the spring semester. Please see here for more information.
Scholarship
- Students interested in taking the summer environmental science field course (GEOL G329) at the IU field station in Montana can apply for merit-based scholarships to offset the cost of course fees. Information is available at http://www.indiana.edu/~iugfs/alumni/funds.php
- Scholarships for study abroad open to undergraduates (usually based on merit) include the Churchill Scholarships, the Mitchell Scholarships among others.
- The College of Arts and Sciences at IUB offers a variety of annual scholarship competitions.
- The Hutton Honors College at IU also has a list of links to scholarships that are available to undergraduates at http://www.indiana.edu/~iubhonor/funding.php
