Graduate Student Michael Cheshire wins the 2008 Industrial Minerals Scholarhip
On behalf of the Department we'd like to offer our congratulations to Michael Cheshire, who has won the 2008 Industrial Minerals Division Gerald V. Henderson Scholarship awarded by the Society of Mining Engineers. Michael is a Ph.D. student in clay mineralogy working with Professor David Bish.
This prestigious annual scholarship is an award of $2,500, was presented to Michael at SME Annual Meeting in Denver.
Congratulating to Michael on this singular honor, and thank you for bringing further distinction to the Department and its graduate student body.
