Executive Committee Positions

• President: The presiding officer of the organization, responsible for the conduct of meetings and that other executive members are fulfilling their responsibilities, spokesperson to the University and administration, and to be the backbone of Greeks Go Green. The President is the primary officer with the authority to call general and executive meetings and sets the goals for the organization.

• Vice President: The administrative assistant to the President, and presides in the absence of the President.

• Campus Outreach Officer: Responsible for projecting the best image of Greeks Go Green to those outside of the organization. This officer is in charge of reaching out to non-greek  students and organizations throughout campShall also be responsible for coordinating the work of:

  • Event Planner - Greek Energy Challenge

  • Advertising

  • Fundraising

• Greek Outreach Officer: Particularly concerned with the membership functions of the organization, maintaining communication between Chapters, maintaining the constitution, and membership development, stability and balance.

  • Chapter representatives

• Treasurer: Keep track of the finances. Developing and maintaining organization budget. Maintaining records of organization spending. Communicate with Indiana University Student Organization Accounts.

• Secretary: Take minutes at meetings, send out emails to keep everyone updated, print out handouts, and make calendars. Developing meeting agendas. Maintaining lists of organization members.

• Website Chair: Maintain both the Greeks Go Green and My Involvement websites. Responsible for posting meeting minutes and contributing at all Executive meetings.
