Welcome to Campus Girl Scouts at Indiana University. Our mission is to provide college-age students with an opportunity to have fun and provide service; for some this is a chance to continue their careers in Girl Scouting, while others may have had no previous experience. We are a part of Girl Scouts of the USA and of Girl Scouts of Central Indiana Council, located in south central Indiana. The only requirements to join are to be a registered member of Girl Scouting and to be an IUB student.

We've just completed another year of IU Campus Girl Scouts fun! The group had our final meeting at Rachael's Cafe, where we met with Erin from Tulip Trace and said goodbye to graduating seniors. We also had the opportunity to welcome a newer member, Teal, who will be helping coordinate activities an events next year.

The group started the new year with a table at the Student Involvement Fair and a callout meeting. We also participated in a few events, including Round-up, an annual Tulip Trace activity. Go to the events page to find out about future activities.

I just updated the events page. I added a link to council's event website (which was actually hard to find, it's kind of hidden in an unintuitive place on their page). I also added some events coming up.
Just so you all know...this Friday we're having a pizza night (council's treat) with Tammy Chaney from council. After the pizza, we'll be going to a volleyball game. The info is on the events page.
Old News — 9/11/07:
We just had our first IUCGS call-out meeting on Wednesday, September 5 at 7:00 p.m. Apparently, it went well and we had many new members show up! (I missed it.) We discussed potential activities planned for the year, such as the Campus Invasion, volunteer possibilities, and maybe even hosting Girl Scout events.
I am trying to keep this website updated, so please check back frequently for information. We also have a listserv that we use to send emails to the group. If you are on the listserv, you can send emails to the address. It is iucgs-l at indiana dot edu.
