The City of Fort Wayne selected Pinnacle Mapping Technologies, Inc. as the acquisition vendor for their high-resolution orthophotography project. This dataset was created from new digital aerial imagery flown during leaf-off conditions on April 16 and April 18 2008. A new Digital Surface Model (DSM) was created to support orthorectification of the raw imagery captured with the DIMAC camera system.

The Digital Orthophotography was created using digital color imagery to include the areas of the City of Fort Wayne and Allen County. The City of Fort Wayne requires a three-year orthophotograpy program be undertaken due to its high growth and development rate. For project consistency all data was delivered in the Indiana State Plane Coordinate System East Zone, in US Survey Feet. It is requested that the City of Fort Wayne be
cited in any products generated from this data.

Each image is archived in a .zip file which includes the image and any ancillary files. FGDC metadata is available for this dataset.
