This data archive includes contour data for the greater Bloomington, Indiana area. It includes both line contours and point elevation features. This data originated from 1991-9992 aerial photography with selected areas updated in 1998. The City of Bloomington provided its contour data to IU in 2002. Small changes are made to this data set periodically by the City of Bloomington, so check their website for the most current information. Additional base map layers are available for download from the City of Bloomington.
This data is available in ESRI shapefile format. The data have been archived with TAR and compressed with GZIP. When uncompressed, the files from this archive will expand and require nearly 1 GB of disk space. Small tiles of contour data may be downloaded from the City of Bloomington's Web site.
