Wesley Thomas (Dine'/Navajo) currently at Bloomington, Indiana is organizing an initial planning meeting for the OVTSS, which encompasses Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and southern Illinois states. Please note that OVTSS is a support group and will not be a place to learn about being Native/Indian (currently or in one's previous life), being Two-Spirit, or how to become a Two-Spirit. A non-profit social services organization whose membership consits of Aboriginal gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people in Toronto . The Fred Martinez Project

Fred Martinez was nadleeh—someone who possesses a balance of masculine and feminine traits—a special gift according to his traditional Navajo culture. But his determination to express his truest identity tragically cost him his life. He was the youngest hate-crime victim in American history when he was murdered in Cortez, Colorado on June 16, 2001.
