Professional Development


The Center for the Study of Global Change is very active in supporting professional development opportunities for faculty, administration, and students. The Center supports multidisciplinary faculty study groups, develops workshops on a variety of issues, and provides funding for projects that enhance faculty teaching, learning, research, and international collaboration. Professional development opportunities build on the Global Center's expertise as well as its strengths of linking scholars and programs that are typically separated by discipline, regional specialization, and methodological tradition. Funding opportunities are available through the Global Center to support these professional development activities.
  • Faculty Study GroupsExploring the implications of global topics and international education from a wide range of disciplinary and regional perspectives
     
  • Professional Development WorkshopsDeveloping workshops on a variety of issues such as distance learning technology, library resources, language pedagogy, and internationalizing the curriculum
