The Center for the Study of Global Change, the Center for Language Technology (CeLT), and the Center for Language Excellence are sponsoring the 2014 annual Language Pedagogy, Assessment, and Technologies Workshop for new FLTAs and AIs of Less Commonly Taught Languages on August 20-22. The afternoon of the second day will be an interactive panel discussing issues LCTL instructor may encounter and problem-solving. The final morning will focus on the latest instructional technologies at CeLT.

This is a free introductory workshop and open to all NEW LCTL instructors (not veterans this year), and their Language Coordinators, although space is limited. The purpose is to prepare new FLTAs and AIs to effectively teach their native languages to American students in IU classroom settings and provide the basics in teaching and assessment techniques and instructional technologies.

Veterans LCTL Instructors: CeLT is arranging a dedicated ‘Canvas” session for you. Please look for announcements from CeLT.
