Outstanding International History Award

The Global Center annually sponsors the Outstanding International History Award at the National History Day in Indiana, held each spring in Indianapolis. Designing projects, exhibits, and presentations and guided by a yearly theme (set nationally), students from grades four to twelve compete for state honors. The Global Center initiated this special award to encourage students, when examining historical events and issues, to consider the world beyond the borders of the United States. This award is given for an exemplary individual senior division project, which analyzes a topic involving more than one country.
