Enhancing the Deliberation Process
Using Primary Sources (EDPUPS)

Enhancing the Deliberation Process Using Primary Sources (EDPUPS) is a professional development program for K-12 educators, made possible by generous grants from the Midwest Center for Teaching with Primary Sources (MCTPS), Illinois State University.

The primary goals of the program:
  1. To train educators in the use of Library of Congress digital primary source materials.
  2. To teach educators how to incorporate primary sources into the deliberation process, as defined by the Integrating International and Civic Education (IICE) program.
