  • New Tech Global Issues All-School ProjectA cross-curricular all-school project designed for New Tech High School students that focuses on a major global issue
     
  • Capitol Forum Indiana (CFI)Emphasized decision-making and civic responsibility for high school students, focusing on U.S. foreign policy
     
  • Enhancing the Deliberation Process Using Primary Sources (EDPUPS) Offered a professional development opportunity for K-12 teachers focusing on teaching with primary sources and using them in the deliberation process
     
  • Global Grants Indiana — Provided Indiana principals with funds to facilitate integration of international content, skills, and attitudes into their schools.
     
  • Integrating International and Civic Education (IICE) — Developed opportunities for teachers to learn how to use deliberation to better integrate international issues in standards-based classrooms
     
  • International Studies Summer Institute (ISSI)Provided a residential institute for teachers to explore diverse global topics through the use of simulations, panels, interactive communication technology connections, and cultural events
     
  • STARTALKA scholarship project for graduates or undergraduates or in-service teachers, designed to train instructors in methods of teaching less commonly taught languages to young learners (Pre-K to grade 6) in community settings
