ISSI 2010 – Fees

Important Information to keep in mind!!!

  • INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS: APPLY EARLY!!! – visa application process can be lengthy!!!

    • Due to length of visa application process, the international deadline for complete applications is April 21, 2010.  A complete application includes the application form, resume, and letter of recommendation.
    • We require participants to enter the U.S. on a J-1 student visa

  • Basic Fees: $200 Registration & Technology Fee

    • Mandatory Fee
    • Refund Policy: Fully refundable until April 15th, partially refundable until June 1st
    • Fee is due at time of acceptance; fee confirms participation in institute
    • Fee qualifies for the U.S. Lifetime Learning Tax Credit
       
  • Additional Costs for International Participants:

    • Additional fees charged by the U.S. Embassy, including a visa processing fee
    • Travel to Indianapolis Airport from country/state of residence
    • Proof of health/travel insurance due on arrival (Indiana University offers insurance – more information after selection)
