Troy Byler is a permanent lecturer and outreach coordinator for the Germanic Studies Department at Indiana University Bloomington. He teaches all levels of German language instruction and is also the departmental liaison for the high school concurrent enrollment program, Advance College Project. He is involved with course development, articulation, teacher training and workshops, and assessment. He has been involved with the International Studies Summer Institute (ISSI) since its inception and has been its program coordinator for the last five years.
