Archives, Databases, and Publications

The Center for the Study of Global Change supports the publication of academic research through a variety of venues. Since 1990, the Center has published a wide range of international issue papers by IU faculty and distinguished policy-makers. In 1999, we embarked on a new series of publications which support International Studies curricula and research. Publications in this category include bibliographic guides and occasional papers.
  • Bibliographic Guides — Extensive listings of bibliographic resources supporting international issues and topics, developed by the IU Global Studies Librarian

  • Electoral and Institutional Database of the World — generation of measures of importance to social scientists, policy-makers, and students and teachers of politics

  • Global and International Education Archive (GIEA) — Presenting a collection of global and international education materials of all kinds from many sources around the world

  • League of Nations Photo Archive — Providing a rich source of committee memberships and country representatives; photos of personalities, assemblies, councils, and much more

  • Nobel Peace Prize Laureates Documents Database — Displaying achievements of approximately forty Nobel Peace Laureates by including primary and secondary documents, bibliographies, and related links for each laureate (1901-2005)

  • Occasional Papers — Demonstrating the Center's commitment to both applied and theoretical research and the benefits of interdisciplinary education
