Mary Benson McMullen, Ph.D. (Florida State University, 1992) is a professor of early childhood education. Her research interests include factors that influence teachers' beliefs and practices in early childhood education in various contexts and cultures; and international perspectives on quality and definitions of "best" practice in early care and education.
