Lynn Duggan, Associate Professor, joined the Labor Studies faculty at IUB in 1997. Her research interests include political economy of work, working conditions in retail employment, international social policy comparisons, German unions and family policy, immigration, women in building trades, and the economics of gender. She has a PhD in Economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst (1993) and has published in Comparative Economic Studies, Feminist Economics, and the National Women's Studies Association Journal; and co-edited The Women, Gender, and Development Reader. She has worked as staff researcher for the Service Employees International Union District 1199 (W. Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio) and the United Food and Commercial Workers, Local 951.
