Susan Garcia is Outreach Coordinator for the Indiana University (IU) Center for the Study of Global Change (Global Center) where she manages several projects, including: Bridges: Children, Languages, World; Deliberation: Integrating International and Civic Education; Global Grants Monroe County Community School Corporation; Global Issues Community Discussion Series; Internationalizing the Academic Standards: Indiana; and New Tech Global Issues All-School Project. Susan has a B.A. in History, secondary teaching license, and M.S.Ed. in International and Comparative Education with a concentration in Higher Education and Student Affairs. Before coming to the Global Center, she co-developed the curriculum for an alternative school and taught middle and high school students there for eight years. As an undergraduate, Susan studied in Spain. She has traveled to Canada, France, Guatemala, Mexico, and Morocco.
