Susan Garcia is the State Coordinator for Capitol Forum Indiana, a civic engagement and international education program for high school students and teachers, and an Assistant Outreach Coordinator at the Global Center. Before coming to the center, Ms. Garcia spent eight years teaching middle and high school students and developing curriculum for an alternative school setting. Ms. Garcia, who earned a BA in History from Ohio University and holds an Indiana Teaching License, participated in a semester study abroad program in Spain, traveled to Canada, Europe, Latin America, and North Africa, and maintains basic literacy skills in Spanish
