Rosemary Pennington is the Project Coordinator for "Voices and Visions: Islam and Muslims in World Contexts" funded by the Social Science Research Council. She received her bachelor's degree from Ohio University's E.W. Scripps School of Journalism in 2001 and is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in IU's School of Journalism. Pennington, a multi-award winning journalist, worked in public broadcasting newsrooms in Athens, Ohio, and Birmingham, Alabama, before moving to Bloomington.
