Devorah Shubowitz is Library Assistant for the Center for the Study of Global Change. She is founder of Jewish Women in Global Perspective, a documentary film festival based at Indiana University. She received her MA in Religious Studies from New York University and is currently an anthropology doctoral student at Indiana University. Her work centers on women's religious study practices and feminist anthropology.
