Samantha is a junior majoring in International Studies. She's focusing on Global Health and Environment and specializes in East Africa. She is also minoring in Swahili and Sociology. She just returned from a summer in Tanzania, and after finishing this year of study, she will wrap up her undergraduate degree in Tanzania. She loves Swahili and the culture that surrounds the language. As part of the Swahili Flagship, she has had the opportunity to really expand her love of people, culture (especially food), and traveling. She is also a member of Theta Phi Alpha sorority and is very happy that her president will also be traveling with her to Tanzania for her senior year.
