Sabelo Gumedze participated in sessions of the faculty seminar and the graduate seminar on “New Faces of International Security in the 21st Century as well as made a number of other presentations at the university and in the Bloomington community.  A senior fellow at the Institute of International Security in Pretoria, South Africa, he has done extensive work on human rights, and during his stay at the university he devoted his attention largely to human rights and international security, with a special focus on Africa.
