Roman I. Zlotin is former Senior Research Scientist and Chair of the Department of Biogeography, Institute of Geography, Russian Academy of Sciences; Dr. Zlotin taught a course on Biogeography and a unit on this subject for the International Studies Introductory Core Course and contributed to the development of the Global Resources and the Environment Track in the International Studies Program.
