The Center for the Study of Global Change aims to create an environment for technological innovation in international studies, through a variety of initiatives, including the innovative Technology Pilot Project in International Studies Grants. Students, faculty, and community members join a virtual and global academic community and benefit enormously by reaching out to converse and collaborate with others around the world.
To this end, the Global Center welcomes proposals which foster and utilize innovative technologies for academic and outreach projects. We seek proposals that incorporate interactive communications technologies (ICT), such as videoconferencing and other digital mediums, as the means to facilitate global conversations and collaborations for both students and faculty. We encourage proposals from all disciplines, though priority will be given to those proposals which are global in scope and involve faculty and students from a variety of academic disciplines, professional schools, and world regions. The staff of the Global Center would be happy to assist faculty to develop their ideas.
Guidelines for Proposals
- Priority will be given to those proposals which are broadly international and involve faculty and students from a variety of academic disciplines and professional schools.
