This video shows the operation of the SCGD. A solution (cathode), with pH = 1, flows through the glass tube on the bottom of the screen. The discharge is ignited by bring the titanium anode (top) in contact with the solution. The lights are then turned off and a laser is turned on to emphasize the droplets coming from the liquid-cathode surface. |
