Workshop Summary: Calling all graduate and professional student instructors! Whether you are new to teaching or a veteran instructor, incorporating the libraries and the research process into your course can be a challenge. From designing assignments to building assessments, the IU Libraries are here to help. This workshop will provide strategies for teaching research skills, including the knowledge to find and evaluate information. You’ll leave with an understanding of:
• how to design a library-related or research-based assignment
• ways to use the libraries’ resources to support your students’ learning
• strategies for assessing students’ research skills
