The Graduate and Professional Student Organization serves over 10,000 graduate and professional students at IU Bloomington through providing academic support, advocacy, community-building and resources.
The GPSO is seeking to fill both the Communications Coordinator and Operations Coordinator positions for the 2011-12 academic year, with some summer hours that will begin in April or May.
Both positions are 20-hour per week (50% FTE) appointments. Compensation includes full tuition remission for 12 credits per semester and 6 credit hours during summer session, excluding non-remittable fees; subsidized Student Academic Appointee Mandatory Health Insurance and a $12,000 stipend. As many as 150 summer hours may be worked and paid at an hourly rate of $12.50/hour. The assistantship is considered taxable income.
