The Department of Comparative Literature is looking for a managing editor for The Yearbook of Comparative Literature, a yearly publication, for the 2011-2012 academic year. Candidates should have some experience of publishing, of proofreading, and editing academic texts. They should also possess some knowledge of computer programs such as Adobe Indesign and Dreamweaver. The managing editor will work closely with the Journal’s General editor Prof. Eyal Peretz. This is a 10 month, 37.5% FTE GA position with a workload that will vary in intensity from week to week over the length of the appointment. Compensation will include a stipend of $7500 payable over 10 months and student health insurance. This position does not include tuition fee remission. Candidates must apply and be eligible for federal work study funding. This position also requires candidates to maintain registration of a minimum of 6 credits per semester (or G901) to be eligible for student health insurance.
