Wanted: Research scientist to study students’ mathematics learning. We are looking for a researcher to help us design experiments, collect data, and analyze results on students’ use of an Ipad-based algebra tutoring system. We have received a grant from the Department of Education, Institute of Education Sciences, to develop and test a (literally) hands-on, interactive algebra tutoring system. The GGC will be open while summer courses are in session ( 7 May- 26 July 2013). The office is closed Fridays until Fall Semester begins and for holidays (Memorial Day weekend and 4 July).
