Boren Scholarships and Fellowships: support undergraduate (scholarship) and graduate (fellowship) students in adding international and foreign language experience to their education. Boren awards support activities in countries outside W. Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Deadlines are:
January 22, 2013 – Scholarship deadline for campus review; February 13, 2013 – Scholarship deadline for national review.
January 31, 2013 – Fellowship deadline for national review (no campus review for Fellowships).

Hewlett/IIE Dissertation Fellowship in Population, Reproductive Health, and Economic Development: support for dissertations on topics that examine how population dynamics and family planning influence economic development. Rotary Peace Fellowships: fellows earn a master’s-level degree or a professional development certificate in peace and conflict studies at one of six Rotary Peace Centers at leading universities in Australia, England, Japan, the United States, Sweden and Thailand. Whitaker Grants: grant that sends emerging leaders in biomedical engineering (or bioengineering) overseas to increase international collaboration in the field. Deadlines are: January 21, 2013 for fellows and scholars; February 14, 2013 for summer. See Whitaker International Program
